1. Inclusive Eye Health Advisor
Job Overview
This full-time position reports to the Inclusive Eye Health & Neglected Tropical Diseases Director and is in charge of assisting CBM Global partner organizations and Country Offices with Inclusive Eye Health (IEH) technical advising support and capacity building.
Responsibility
- Supporting country planning initiatives while ensuring alignment with the IEH strategy and selecting pertinent country-level goals and metrics
- In conjunction with CBM Global Member Associations and Country Teams, identify and seek funding opportunities from institutional and other significant sources.
- Create model IEH programs with best practices, expand them, and record them to encourage replication.
- Engage, encourage, and exert influence over alliance partners and pertinent networks as indicated in the IEH & NTD plan to further the strategy's goals.
- Support country-based employees (such as program officers and program managers) in enabling partners to produce high-quality IEH work
Qualifications
Background and relevant work experience in inclusive eye health and/or public health ophthalmology, including using pertinent tools and methods (PCM, participatory approaches etc).
