Nepal Police is preparing to open Myadi Police (Temporary Cops) recruitment for the mid-term elections announced after the dissolution of the House of Representatives. With the government setting the date for the next election on 2078 Baisakh 17 and 27, the Nepal Police is preparing to open the recruitment process for the Myadi Prahari force without increasing the number to around one lakh. For that, the police have prepared a preliminary outline of the security plan with the budget demand.
According to the Police Headquarters, a technical plan has been drawn up for the security of the polling station and the polling station. The Police Headquarters is working with the Ministry of Finance and the Election Commission in this regard.
According to the blueprint, preparations have been made to call for temporary (Myadi) police recruitment so that the number does not increase to one lakh for the upcoming election. Earlier, in the House of Representatives and State Assembly elections held in 2074 BS, Nepal Police had recruited 98,268 temporary police personnel.
